1. Data we collect

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number / WhatsApp (optional)
  • Country of residence and artwork location
  • Photographs of artworks and artwork information (description, dimensions, technique, provenance, condition)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — Zbirka does not store payment-card details)

2. Purpose of processing

We use your personal data and photographs solely to:

Photographs and artwork information are not used for any other purpose — they are not published, shared or used for marketing without your consent.

  • process and review your submitted request
  • communicate with you about the request, payment and Art Appraisal Report
  • prepare and deliver the Art Appraisal Report
  • meet legal obligations

3. Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on your explicit consent when submitting a request (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and performance of contractual obligations to provide the service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Data sharing

Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

We use the following trusted processor, which processes data solely to provide the service: Stripe — payment processing (its own privacy policy at stripe.com).

5. Data retention

We retain data as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve possible disputes and fulfil legal obligations. On written request, we may delete your data except data we are legally required to retain.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we process
  • rectify inaccurate data
  • erasure of data (the “right to be forgotten”)
  • restriction of processing
  • data portability
  • withdraw consent at any time
  • lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority

We use minimal technical cookies necessary for the service to function (session, security). We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Your data is transmitted and stored through encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to data is strictly limited.
